Hi Malcolm and Jillian! I’m finally reading your blog, which was recommended to me by Tris Coburn, my agent. My book about craft beer (my 2d one) came out in October, 2016. The first version was published in 1997. (What’s Brewing in New England, Down East Books). I love how you both have re-considered your blog’s purpose and look forward to reading your books, too. Meantime, I am beginning a new food blog that will encompass beer, wine and spirits. Just getting it going, but I’m thinking the name will be Saucy Scrivener. Would love to connect with you. kateconewrites@gmail.com

Malcolm Bedell is co-author of the critically acclaimed “Eating in Maine: At Home, On the Town, and On the Road,” as well as the taco-centric blog “Eat More Tacos,” and the junk food-centric “Spork & Barrel.” His contributions include Serious Eats, Down East, L.A. Weekly, The Guardian, and The Huffington Post and his food truck, “‘Wich, Please,” was named “Hottest Restaurant in Maine” for 2015 by Eater. Finally, he finds it very silly to be trying to write this in the third person.
